Hi, I’m Vera.
I’m an artist. I write (beautifully), I paint (terribly), I create botanical jewelry (aspirationally). I play Stardew Valley and I’m learning to crochet (slowly). I love my two dogs with all my heart.
Most of all, I live for the freedom to savor every precious moment of my one and only life. I lean into that freedom through thick and thin and I always figure it out.
If you can relate, you’ll probably find joy and healing here… along with some outside-the-box creative business solutions.
I’m an artist, and a hopeless marketing romantic.
Hear me out? Marketing = Connection.
I used to hate marketing. I thought anything to do with sales was repulsive, at best!
But after nearly 10 years working as a freelance marketing assistant and consultant, including a few years of running a social media marketing agency and helping hundreds of clients find ways to market their businesses that didn’t make them want to hurl or hide under a rock, I’ve realized there are ways to do it that aren’t intrusive and vile.
At first, I had to market to get by. But now?
I actually love getting to help spread the word about deeply connective, warm, and nurturing products and services.
I specifically work with fellow artists because our work is precious and important to me. Marketing a creative skill or a hand-crafted masterpiece is different from marketing another hunk of trendy over-consumption derived plastic. Art is nourishing. When your customers go in search of something, not quite knowing what they truly want but knowing something is missing… There’s a moment where they get to stumble upon your creation and feel it settle right into that place in their heart. Your art moves into their home as if it has always belonged there — and every time they see or touch or use it, they feel the care you poured into it and the hope and joy that it represented to them when they bought it.
Those moments are what I’m all about. I want to help you create that, specifically, not just another impulse buy or calculated reel with hopes of going viral and producing a bunch of annoying social media comments that are totally irrelevant to what your account is all about.
I truly believe our art businesses are necessary and beautiful contributions to the world today.
I know how to help you create those moments, and I’ve historically had a real knack for helping creatives find ways to market that not only don’t totally suck out their souls, but that actually feel really good. Like soothing impostor syndrome, refreshing their energy and filling their cup (rather than depleting them or sending them into a guilty self-doubt spiral and a month of whatever the jewelry-maker’s equivalent of writer’s block is).
There are so many platforms and resources available to us. You don’t need them all. You don’t even need a bunch of them. Come, sit with me for a cup of tea, and let’s talk about what’s going on in your business. Whether you’re just getting started or you are financially thriving but mentally/emotionally burning out, I know that together we can come up with a plan and guide your business into a gentler next chapter.

I will never pressure you into a purchase.
If you’re loving what you see here, I want to make sure you know: there’s no investment-expectation standing us. I tend to my calendar intentionally and only offer free consultations I am able to fully be present and joyfully engaged in — so don’t feel bad and don’t be shy.
Yes, I have services that might help you, and if we’re a fit, that’s so exciting! But as far as I’m concerned, we’re both human. We’re just artists out here in the big and busy world. We thrive when we connect, regardless of sales made. It’s not time wasted to me.
Book a consultation, plan to bring a nice little drink for yourself, and let’s talk. There’s no pressure and no obligation. Come, tell me what you’re making and how you’re feeling about the business you’re growing.
